Job summary

Brooklyn Plaza Medical Center is seeking an RN to provide direct patient care, perform accurate assessments, and educate patients. You will participate in charting, medication administration, and care coordination under the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license and an applicable nursing degree or diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience in ambulatory health care or clinic settings, preferably with HIV/AIDS knowledge.
• BLS certification required.
• Demonstrates HIPAA compliance and professional conduct across patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice and implement the plan of care.
• Administer prescribed medications and document in patient charts.
• Assist in training LPNs and Medical Assistants as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilization procedures per policy.
