Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts. You will use the nursing process to deliver patient-centered care, coordinate with multiple departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

The role requires a nursing degree and an active RN license, with BLS and potential for ACLS/PALS/NRP depending on unit needs. Preferred candidates hold a BSN and have prior hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN, Diploma or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state of practice (or eligible compact RN license).
• BLS certification required; ACLS/NRP/PALS and other certifications may be required over time.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and updates care plans.
• Coordinates patient care across departments to ensure safe, effective outcomes.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
