Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in Missouri seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse for the night shift. You will utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, maintain patient rights, and coordinate care with other departments to ensure seamless patient outcomes.

Applicants should graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and hold an active RN license (or be eligible for a compact license). BLS certification is required, with ACLS/NRP/PALS often preferred depending on the department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (AD/ Diploma/ BSN).
• Current RN license in the state of practice (or eligible compact RN license).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Additional certifications may be required (ACLS, NRP, PALS, PEARS, ENPC, TNCC, OCN, CPHON, C-EFM) depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
