Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse for the night shift. You will use the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinate with other departments, and maintain patient rights and confidentiality while upholding Mercy Service Standards.

Education includes ADN/ Diploma or BSN; you must hold an active MO RN license (or eligible compact) and current BLS, with ACLS/PALS and other unit-specific certifications as required by the department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state of practice (or eligible compact RN license).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Additional certifications may be required upon hire or within a designated timeframe (ACLS, PALS, NR PALS, ENPC, TNCC, etc).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
