Job summary
AdventHealth in Kansas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time Day shift. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments.
The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to standards of care. A sign-on bonus of $10,000 is available for eligible candidates. Required RN licensure and an Associate's degree in Nursing, with a BSN preferred.
Qualifications
- RN licensure and ongoing certification as required by state law.
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and care planning.
- Strong communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, development and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, regularly updating as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and policies.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
