Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse in Kansas for a full-time, on-site role. Sign-on bonus available for eligible candidates. Grow through our Clinical Ladder Program with potential salary increases based on experience and achievement.

You will provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop personalized care plans, administer medications, educate patients, and collaborate with the care team. Ideal candidates hold an RN license, an Associate degree (Bachelor's preferred), and at least

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Nursing required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
1+ acute care hospital setting preferred.
Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans, regularly evaluate and revise plans as needed.
Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
