Job summary

Tower Health Reading Hospital is seeking compassionate registered nurses for full-time day and night shifts on the Heart Failure units. You will evaluate assigned patients, plan, implement and document nursing care for a diverse population with complex cardiac conditions.

The role requires administering medications within the RN scope, teaching patients and families about conditions and self-care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• PA Registered Nurse Temporary Practice Permit or Registered Nurse License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
• Delivers excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation while serving a diverse patient population with complex concerns.
• Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
