Job summary

Tower Health’s Reading Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses for full-time or part-time day and night shifts. This role supports adult medical/surgical units with emphasis on thorough assessments, medication administration, and evidence-based care planning.

RNs will educate patients and families, document care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for diverse patient populations in a teaching hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• PA Registered Nurse Temporary Practice Permit or RN License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
• Delivers nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation.
• Performs patient tests and administers medications within the RN scope.
• Promotes patient independence by teaching patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
