Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living seeks an experienced Healthcare Coordinator (RN) to partner with the Community Director in delivering exceptional, people-centered care within a supportive senior living environment. You will lead the resident care team, oversee care programs, ensure compliance with state regulations, and uphold company standards and HIPAA guidelines.

You will recruit, train, and supervise care staff, manage budgets and schedules, monitor medication management, and provide 24/7 on-call

Qualifications

• RN with current state licensure required.
• CPR certification required.
• 4+ years healthcare management in senior living.
• Minimum 2 years’ dementia care experience.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/overnight.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ needs and create individualized service plans.
• Coordinate all aspects of resident care, including EHR and eMAR documentation.
• Monitor medication management and complete regular reviews.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and staff regarding health concerns.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate Resident Assistants and healthcare staff.
• Lead onboarding and ongoing staff training.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and HIPAA guidelines.
• Review incident reports and follow up accordingly.
• Manage department budgets, staffing schedules, and medical inventory.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for emergencies.
