Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a Healthcare Coordinator (RN) to partner with the Community Director in delivering exceptional, people-centered care in a senior living environment. You will lead the resident care team, oversee care programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold HIPAA guidelines.

This on-site role requires RN licensure, CPR, 4+ years of healthcare management in senior living, and experience with dementia.

Qualifications

• RN with current state licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• 4+ years healthcare management in senior living.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting residents with dementia.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and overnight coverage if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ needs and create individualized service plans.
• Coordinate all aspects of resident care, including EHR and eMAR documentation.
• Monitor medication management and conduct regular reviews.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and staff regarding health concerns.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate Resident Assistants and healthcare staff.
• Lead onboarding, staff trainings, and ongoing education.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, safety, and proper PPE use.
• Review, document, and follow up on incident reports.
• Manage healthcare department budgets, staffing schedules, and medical inventory.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for resident emergencies and community needs.
