Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Gynecologic Oncology team in Naples, FL. The role focuses on comprehensive cancer care across surgical, chemotherapy, and perioperative phases, with emphasis on safety and patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, FL RN license, and at least 1 year of gynecologic oncology experience; OCN within 3 years and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• RN license in Florida and BSN degree required.
• 1 year of gynecologic oncology or related field experience.
• OCN certification planned within 3 years of hire.
• BLS certification from Red Cross or AHA is required.
• Completion of ONS online modules within 1 year of hire.
• Must be articulate, team oriented and compassionate.

Responsibilities

• Consent to surgery ordered by the physician.
• Create and monitor surgical packets for complete procedures.
• Write hospital orders for surgery, chemotherapy and admissions.
• Generate and follow up on ordered diagnostic studies and document results.
• Order outside referrals and laboratory tests as appropriate.
• Chart patient progress during chemotherapy and perioperative care.
• Document current medications and any new prescriptions with details.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional conduct.
