Qualifications

• Minimum of BSN required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in gynecologic oncology or related field.
• Complete the ONS Online Modules within 1 year of hire: Fundamentals of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Administration.
• Obtain OCN certification within 3 years of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Be an active part of the center's team.
• Strong communication skills—written and verbal.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Intermediate computer knowledge: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Consent to the patient for surgery ordered by the physician.
• Create and monitor surgical packets for completeness.
• Write hospital orders for surgery, chemotherapy, admissions, etc.
• Document results and physician acknowledgement of diagnoses and treatment.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.
