Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington in Florida is hiring a registered nurse to deliver and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit under the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing. You will coordinate care, discharge planning and patient/family teaching to support post-hospital recovery.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with ACLS required for Charge Nurses. Inpatient med-surgical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise care on the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and family teaching.
• May perform other duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse responsibilities.
