PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington in Florida is hiring a Registered Nurse. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, you will deliver, direct, and supervise care to inpatients on the medical-surgical unit, applying the nursing process and coordinating discharge planning.

Required licensure as an RN in the state (or compact licensure), BLS certification, ACLS certification within 90 days (and for Charge Nurses), plus about one year of inpatient experience

• Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days.
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsabilidades

• Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the RN is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• The RN plans, coordinates, and provides patient care including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
• May perform other related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse responsibilities.
