Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and manage patient care in a clinical area using the nursing process. You will assess, plan, intervene, implement and evaluate care while collaborating with patients, families and the health team.

Applicants must be licensed by the Alabama Board of Nursing. A BSN is preferred; an ADN is acceptable for TKC areas. CPR is required and ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit. UAB Medicine offers comprehensive benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an RN by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required or obtained within 6 months for TKC areas and 1 month for Hospital locations.
• PALS certification preferred by AHA for TKC areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage patient care in a clinical area using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, intervene, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Interact with patients, families, and health team members in a professional manner.
