Job summary

UAB Medicine seeks a Registered Nurse to provide and manage patient care in a clinical setting in Birmingham. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while coordinating with patients, families, and the health team.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in Nursing and Alabama RN licensure, CPR; ACLS within 6 months and PALS preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• RN license active in Alabama required.
• CPR certification required or within 30 days of employment; ACLS within 6 months; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage patient care in a clinical area.
• Deliver care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Collaborate with patients, families, and health-team members to maintain professional standards.
