Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the General Surgery 3W unit. You will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, ensuring safety, privacy, and high-quality outcomes on a night shift schedule.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with multiple departments, maintaining patient rights, and evaluating care effectiveness. New graduates and experienced nurses are encouraged to apply; sign-on bonuses are available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduates from an accredited nursing program with one of the listed credentials.
• Current RN license in MO or applicable compact license.
• Hospital experience is preferred depending on unit.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process.
• Maintain accountability for care of assigned patients.
• Evaluate effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Protect patient rights and confidentiality.
