Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for General Surgery 3W to join our care team. You will use the nursing process to provide patient care, coordinate with other departments, and uphold Mercy service standards while protecting patient rights.

The role is full-time with a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. Sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 for experienced nurses and up to $5,000 for new graduates are available.

Qualifications

• Education: ADN, Diploma, or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensure: Current Missouri RN license or compact licensure per state requirements.
• Experience: Hospital experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS certification through the American Heart Association or eligible within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Uphold Mercy mission and Mercy Service Standards.
