Job summary

Mercy is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for General Surgery on 3W. You will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensure patient rights and confidentiality, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a state RN license.
• LICENSURE: Missouri RN license or compact licensure per state rules.
• Hospital experience preferred and may be required depending on unit.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Evaluate care effectiveness of direct care givers.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Adhere to Mercy's mission, values and service standards.
