Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for General Surgery 3W. The role requires nursing program completion, an active RN license (state or compact), BLS, and at least 2 years of patient care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Performs duties in alignment with Mercy mission and Service Standards.
