Baptist South is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Full-time Day shift in the General Progressive Care Unit (PCU). A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available for new hires.

The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, educate patients and families, and coordinate with physicians and hospital teams to meet patient needs. Requirements include an Associate of Science in Nursing (or BA/BS preferred) and current RN licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Cardiac experience preferred.
• 1-2 years Telemetry experience.
• Hospitals experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide care to patients with medical or surgical conditions, including chronic issues.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and plans of care.
• Interact with physicians and other hospital departments to coordinate care.
• Act as patient advocate and coordinate care with ancillary services.
• Participate in staff meetings and unit activities.

Formation

Associate of Science in Nursing or BA/BS degree (preferred)

Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS) degree

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Registered Nurse licensure
