Job summary

Baptist Clay is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Fulltime Nights in the PCU. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is available for new hires.

The RN will provide patient care using the nursing process, coordinate care with ancillary services, and advocate for patients across medical, surgical, or other conditions. Preferred candidates have 1-2 years Cardiac or Telemetry experience and hold BLS certification, RN license, and nursing degrees (AS/BS).

Qualifications

• Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.
• 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
• 1-2 years Telemetry Experience
• Licensed Registered Nurse required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition.
• Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care.
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
• Act as the patient advocate.
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital.
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities.
