Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Fulltime Day shift in our General PCU. New hires are eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include providing care to patients with medical or surgical conditions, educating patients and families, advocating for patients, coordinating care with physicians and ancillary staff, and participating in unit activities to uphold the hospital mission.

Qualifications

• Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
• Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
• Act as the patient advocate
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities
