Job summary

Baptist Health South is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Fulltime Nights in the Progressive Care Unit (South - Main Building). A $3,750 sign-on bonus is available for new hires. The role focuses on patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinating across disciplines and educating patients and families.

Education includes an Associate of Science in Nursing; a BA/BS is preferred. 1–2 years of Cardiac/Telemetry experience is desired, with BLS and RN licensure required.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing (required).
• Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Educate patients and families about disease process and plan of care.
• Coordinate care with physicians and hospital departments; act as patient advocate and liaison with ancillary services.
• Participate in staff meetings and unit activities.
