Job summary

Phaxis is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for our Gastroenterology ASC in Ballantyne, NC. The role covers pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care on a Monday–Friday schedule with 6 AM–3 PM shifts and no weekends.

The ideal candidate holds an active NC RN license, current BLS and ACLS, and at least 1 year of RN experience in GI, surgical, or ER settings. This outpatient ASC environment requires adaptability and a calm, fast-paced demeanor.

Qualifications

• Active NC RN license.
• Current BLS & ACLS.
• 1+ year of RN experience.
• GI, surgical, or ER experience preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care.
• Administer medications and assist with GI procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms and equipment.
• Patient education and clinical documentation.
• Maintain sterile technique and safety standards.
