Franciscan Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to work across multiple physician offices in Lafayette, IN. You will assess patients, provide care, develop care plans, and educate patients while coordinating with physicians and staff.

The role supports day shifts, with a sign-on bonus eligibility and opportunities for professional development within a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Associate's Degree -Required
• Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
• Valid RN license to practice in the state or as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) upon hire - Required
• 2 years Nursing/Patient Care - Preferred
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients and provide professional nursing care following established standards and practices
• Provide treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation
• Educate patients and coordinate care among providers and staff
• Serve as liaison between patients, staff and providers and document communications
• Submit prescriptions and manage records electronically or by fax as required
• Assist with pre-certifications and prior authorizations for patient needs

The Registered Nurse (RN) works in multiple physician offices to provide professional nursing care for patients including assessment, treatment, care planning, medical care evaluation, and education by following established standards and practices. The RN float assists providers and staff in coordinating patient care and functions as a liaison between patients, staff, and providers.

• Submit electronically/fax new prescriptions and refill prescriptions according to Physician orders.
• Serve as a resource to clinic staff regarding medical information, patient assessment and nursing management of illness
• Acquire pre-certs/prior authorizations for patient needs
