Job summary

Franciscan Health Lafayette East Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 12-hour night shift (6p-6:30a) on a 27-bed Medical/Surgical unit in Lafayette, IN. Minimum Start Pay listed as $34/hr. Sign-on bonus available; opportunities for professional development; faith-based, mission-focused organization.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, RN license in Indiana, BLS, ACLS if required by unit, and unit-specific certifications. Travel is Never or Rarely. EOE.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice (Indiana)
• BLS required by American Heart Association
• ACLS required if unit requires it
• Unit-specific certifications may be required by Franciscan Alliance

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and develop a plan of care for assigned patients
• Assess and monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to implement care plans
• Document patient care in the electronic health record and ensure accuracy

Qualifications

• Required Associate’s Degree Nursing/Patient Care

• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree Nursing/Patient Care

• Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board in state of practice

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association Required if required by unit

• Unit Specific Certifications - Franciscan Alliance Required if required by unit
