Franciscan Health Dyer Campus in Dyer, Indiana, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide total comprehensive nursing care through development and ongoing revision of an individualized plan of care. The RN will perform psychosocial and physiologic assessments, consider cultural/ethical needs, and coordinate with physicians to meet patient and family education goals throughout the care continuum.

The unit is a fast-paced 3A Adult Psych setting with a faith-based mission.

Qualifikationen

• Team-oriented RN with flexibility to meet patient care needs.
• Associate Degree from an accredited program is required; BSN desirable.
• Licensed RN in Indiana or NLC jurisdiction.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing total comprehensive nursing to patients and their families through the development of a plan of care, including implementing, reassessing, evaluating and revising the plan of care. The RN develops these patient-specific plans by performing psychosocial/physiologic assessments, considering patients’ cultural/ ethical/ spiritual needs, reviewing trends of similar patients, as well as considering physicians’ orders regarding care. The RN integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum of care to include patient and family education, and actively supports and incorporates nursing regulations and standards, as well as Franciscan Alliance processes and procedures in daily practice.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A team-oriented RN willing to be flexible and dynamic in meeting patient care needs.
• Associate Degree from an accredited program is required, BSN desirable
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state or as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
