Job summary

Bayou Bend Health System is seeking a registered nurse licensed in Louisiana with a minimum of 2 years Medical/Surgical unit experience in an acute care hospital. The role requires BLS on hire, ACLS, PALS, and MOAB within 6 months of hire. Reports to the Nurse Manager with coverage on nights and weekends.

This is a full-time, non-management position in the MED SURG department. Pay is commensurate with experience, and candidates must pass a post-offer drug screen in a alcohol-free workplace.

Qualifications

• Active Rhode Island licensure?
• Licensed RN in Louisiana required.
• Minimum 2 years Medical/Surgical Unit experience in an Acute Care Hospital.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• ACLS, PALS and MOAB certifications within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Reports to Department Nurse Manager; in absence, reports to House Supervisor or Charge Nurse.
• Schedule: full-time nights 6p–6a and/or weekends.
• This is a non-management, full-time position in the MED SURG department.
