Job summary

Bayou Bend Health System in Louisiana seeks a Registered Nurse with an active Louisiana license for a PRN Same Day Surgery nursing role. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of hospital nursing experience, exposure to surgery nursing, and proficiency in computer charting.

BLS is required at hire; ACLS, PALS and MOAB certifications are to be completed within 6 months of employment. The position pays $40 per hour, with a commitment to one shift per pay period and one holiday per year.

Qualifications

• RN license must be current in Louisiana.
• Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience.
• Surgery nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with computer charting required.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Job description

Position requires an RN with current license in the State of Louisiana. Successful candidate must have a minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; RNSurgery experience required. Experience in computer charting is a necessity. Also requires current BLS upon hire. ACLS, PALS and MOAB certifications within 6 months of employment. The successful candidate must be able to communicate proficiently, both orally and written.

$40 an hour with a commitment of one shift per pay period and one holiday a year.
