HCA Florida Twin Cities Hospital is seeking an RN for a PRN position at the Free Standing ER in DeFuniak Springs. The RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team, following established nursing models.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of employment start date.
• RN license to practice as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and reassessments.
• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical providers and documents in the medical record.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates patient needs.
• Teaches patients, families, and caregivers about condition, plan, medications, and follow-up care.
• Educates on non-medicinal follow-up measures and prepares for future self-management.
