Job summary

HCA Florida Twin Cities Hospital in DeFuniak Springs, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a PRN role in the Free Standing ER. The RN coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team, following approved nursing models and standards.

Responsibilities include pain assessment, documentation, rapid response to patient needs, and patient education. Certifications in ACLS/BCLS/NVCI are required within specified timeframes; travel is not involved.

Qualifications

• RN license required with current state authorization.
• ACLS/BCLS and NVCI certifications required within specified timelines.
• PALS preferred or equivalent pediatric life support certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Assess pain, perform procedures, document care in medical records.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, plans, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with providers to support clinical outcomes and efficiency.
