Shields Advanced Therapies is seeking an Advanced Therapies Intake Coordinator, RN in Durham, NC (hybrid). This role serves as the clinical intake and patient support anchor for the cell and gene therapy care pathway, ensuring accurate assessment, tracking, and support through intake.

The ideal candidate is an RN with strong data and systems orientation, proficient in Epic and Excel, and ready to apply clinical background to operational nuances of advanced therapies.

Qualifications

• Active NC RN license or eligibility.
• 5+ years nursing experience; cell/gene therapy preferred.
• Proficient with Epic EHR and Excel data tracking.
• Strong organization and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical and non-clinical intake data with a nursing lens to ensure complete patient records.
• Maintain patient tracking spreadsheets and Epic records for intake data.
• Coordinate travel, lodging, and co-pay assistance applications with healthcare partners.
• Ensure seamless handoff across care pathways with nurse navigation and financial clearance.
• Identify data gaps or blockers and resolve them to keep care on track.
• Serve as a clinically knowledgeable point of contact for cross-functional teams.
• Support ongoing improvements to intake tracking tools and processes.
