Job summary

UNC Health in Chapel Hill, NC seeks a Transplant Nurse Coordinator for the Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy program to coordinate allogeneic and autologous transplants, cellular therapies, and CAR-T care across the patient continuum.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to educate patients and families, ensure regulatory compliance, and support excellence in patient care, research and education.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Solid organ transplant or bone marrow transplant experience preferred for this role.
• Pediatric hematology/oncology and/or pediatric BMTCT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for pre- and post-transplant patients.
• Oversee clinical, psychosocial and financial aspects of transplant care.
• Coordinate pre-transplant evaluations, donor searches, and treatment planning.
• Manage waiting list for solid organ transplants and coordinate organ offers.
• Educate patients and families about the transplant/therapy process and expected outcomes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate documentation in EMR and audits.
