Job summary

Mercy Health System in Missouri is seeking a Float Pool RN for weekend option (36 hours per week, days) at Mercy Hospital Jefferson, Festus. This role offers a Graduate Nurse sign-on bonus of $5,000 and an Experienced Nurse sign-on bonus of $10,000, with opportunities to float to ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, Med-Surg units, and Acute Rehab.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Must hold a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (AHA) or complete within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model and nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and maintain patients' rights and confidentiality.
• Float Pool duties across units including ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, all Med-Surg units and Acute Rehab.

Units you may float to based on experience:

ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, all Med-Surg units, and Acute Rehab.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
