Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is hiring RN Float Pool nurses to provide high-quality patient care across multiple units during night shifts. This role supports flexibility, teamwork, and continuous learning in a mission-driven environment.

You’ll rotate through ED, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, Medical-Surgical – Adults and Medical-Surgical – Adults & Peds, with competitive incentives including a $10,000 sign-on and shift differentials. Mercy offers day-one benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Licensure: Active RN license in Missouri or compact (meets state board requirements).
• Experience: 1+ year RN experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Depending on assignment, ACLS and/or PALS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as part of the RN Float Pool.
• Rotate across units: Emergency Department, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, Medical-Surgical (Adults), Medical-Surgical (Adults & Peds).
• Maintain patients' rights and confidentiality; coordinate care with other departments.

Float Pool RNs rotate across the following units:

• Emergency Department

• Medical-Surgical - (Adults & Peds)

Qualifications

• Physical Requirements:
  • Able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting throughout shifts
