Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Tennessee is seeking an RN Float Pool to provide direct patient care across units. The role emphasizes therapeutic communication, safety, and interdisciplinary collaboration to meet patient needs.

The RN will assess patient plans, administer medications, monitor status, and educate patients and families with a multidisciplinary team. Requires TN RN license and BLS; ACLS within 6 months and 2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse from accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure with Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will assess plans and evaluate patient care needs and carry out physician orders.
• You will administer prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitor vital signs.
• You will monitor, record, and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
• You will instruct and educate patients and families as part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team.
