Responsibilities

• Assess plans and evaluate patient care needs and carry out physician orders.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
• Instruct and educate patients and families as part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team.

Parkridge Medical Center is a 270-plus bed hospital located near downtown Chattanooga. It offers comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical services, including cardiovascular surgery, cancer treatment, intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, rehabilitation, and a state‑of‑the‑art neurosurgery program. Patients also have access to OB‑GYN services and a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as well as behavioral health treatment centers for children and adults.
