Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center is a 270+ bed hospital near downtown Chattanooga seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse to support patient care across units. We care for our community and foster growth within a compassionate team.

The RN will perform direct patient care, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and participate in multidisciplinary care planning. Tennessee RN license, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months of hire, with preferred 2 years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse from accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure with Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess plans and evaluate patient care needs and carry out physician orders.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, monitor vital signs.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
• Instruct and educate patients and families as part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team
