Job summary

Scripps Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Stepdown Float Pool at Scripps Memorial La Jolla and Scripps Green Hospital, La Jolla. The RN will float between units, delivering direct patient care in a fast-paced environment with 12-hour night shifts and a 72 hours per 2-week schedule.

New hire and relocation incentives up to $7,000 are available. California RN license, BLS and ACLS are required, with preference for Acute Care/Telemetry/Progressive Care experience.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• California Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Assess, plan and implement a care plan and evaluate patient progress.
• Take primary responsibility for patient care delivered by the care team under supervision.
• Collaborate with other care team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
