Job summary

Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the MedSurg Tele Float Pool. This full-time night shift position offers 12-hour shifts (1900-0730) across Memorial and Green campuses, with self-scheduling and 4 weekend shifts every four weeks to maintain flexibility.

The role requires at least one year of acute Med/Surg experience, CA RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of acute Med/Surg RN experience.
• Current CA State RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care.
• Collaborate with the care team to evaluate patient progress toward outcomes.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained across all Med/Surg Tele units.

This is a Full Time Night shift position 1900-0730 with 12 hour shifts (72 hrs. per pay period) in the MedSurg Tele Float Pool within our La Jolla Hospitals (Memorial and Green).

We invite you to join our highly engaged team of Float Pool Registered Nurses within MedSurg Tele where you will be responsible for providing direct patient care that includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. With quality patient and family-centered care in mind, the RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications

• At least one year of acute Med/Surg RN experience.
• Graduate from an accredited school for nursing

Position Pay Range: $59.16-$85.68/hour
