Job summary

Scripps Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the System Wide Resource Services (SSRS) float pool. The position supports ICU coverage across five campuses with 72 hours per 2-week pay period and 12-hour night shifts, including weekends.

We offer part-time or full-time opportunities with competitive New Hire incentives and relocation options. Eligible candidates must hold a CA RN license and BLS/ACLS, and provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of recent RN experience in a Definitive Observation Unit (DOU) or similar department.
• Current CA RN License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS prior to start.
• Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Assess, plan and implement care; evaluate patient progress.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal patient care.
