Job summary

Medical City Fort Worth, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking RN Float Pool (PRN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers. The role covers pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, advocating for patients to ensure an outstanding experience.

You will assess patient status during admissions and shifts, document care, administer medications, and stay current on cardiac and medical-surgical procedures and equipment.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS required.
• RN license in good standing required.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures as ordered by physician.
• Document care in patient record promptly and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
