Job summary

HCA Healthcare in Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Nurse Float Pool for the Critical Care unit. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team. The role emphasizes teaching patients and families, documenting care, and participating in quality initiatives.

The RN must have active licensure and a BSN or ADN with at least 1 year of RN experience. ACLS/BCLS within 30 days is required or expected.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Bachelors or Associate degree required.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications preferred or required within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider; document care in the patient record.
• Educate patients/families/caregivers about conditions, treatments, medications and follow-up measures.
• Coordinate and manage patient care with the care team to promote recovery and meet quality measures.
• Support evidence-based practices and process improvements to enhance patient outcomes.
