Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time PM shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The role emphasizes using the nursing process to promote health, prevent illness, and provide collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as an RN in Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to care for and counsel individuals on health promotion and illness prevention.
• Delegate, coordinate and manage all aspects of nursing care for patient, family and community.
• Deliver patient care in collaboration with the health care team and licensed physicians, psychologists, podiatrist, and/or dentist.
