Job summary

Atmore Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate RN to join the Night Shift Team on 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. This full-time role supports multiple departments, floats as needed, and delivers high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment. Alabama RN license and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS must be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama RN license.
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications must be obtained within six (6) months of hire.
• Previous acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility and willingness to float between departments as needed.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

• Float to other departments as needed to support patient care and hospital operations.
