Job summary

Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center - Janesville, WI seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse for the Float Pool on the Night shift. The role involves caring for patients across units, with a 36-hour weekly schedule and potential on-call hours.

Must be licensed in WI and have ADN (BSN preferred) with CPR/BLS within 90 days. Candidate will administer medications, document care, and participate in unit improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire; BSN preferred.
• Licensed RN in state of practice; CPR/BLS within 90 days.
• Unit-specific certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes nursing process with interdisciplinary team.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Develops patient plan of care with physician guidance.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
• Escalates safety concerns appropriately.
