Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a registered nurse for 24 hours per week on the night shift in Wisconsin. Responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating care, and documenting per standards. ADN required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process with interdisciplinary team members to care for patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per approved techniques and policies.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention and evaluation of care.
• Develops and executes patient care plans as prescribed by physician and policy.
• Participates in department/unit performance improvement activities.
• Supports the patient’s longitudinal plan of care across units as needed.
• Escalates safety concerns through appropriate chain of command.
