Centerpoint Health - Paris, a 58-bed acute care facility, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Float Pool on the Night shift. The role encompasses leadership after hours, patient care, and coordination across departments to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Requires Kentucky RN license or compact licensure.
• An Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of bedside RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours leadership and act as a resource for staff.
• Performs plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and related care.
• Documents care provided in a timely, accurate manner.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assists with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
• Floats throughout the building to support departments and staff.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers, discharges, referrals, psychosocial support).
• Educates patients and families; advocates for well-being.
• Participates in performance improvement and required education; may work other shifts/units and take on-call assignments.
