Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver is seeking a dedicated RN to join our night-shift team. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to deliver safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

Must be an RN with active license.
BLS certification required.
Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical and psychosocial needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families on conditions and self-care strategies.
Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care.
Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
Evaluate care plans and adjust to improve outcomes.
Ensure infection control and safety standards compliance.
Provide emotional support to patients and families.
Supervise and delegate care to team members.
Engage in continuous professional development.
Respond to code situations and stabilize patients.
